Letter of Introduction

March 13, 2011

Dear Sir or Madam,

This spring I will graduate from college with a BS in Accounting.  I have started the process of networking with family and friends, and as the result of one of those connections this cover letter and my resume have reached your desk.  I appreciate your consideration.

The world of finance has intrigued me since my childhood.  When most children were listening to bedtime stories, my grandfather was teaching me the amazing story of compound interest.  Those early lessons stayed with me and motivated me to study finance and accounting at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire..

Over the past three years I have consistently maintained above a 3.0 G.P.A and my education thus far has taught me a lot about the market.  I am currently assisting one of my professors with the management of the Plymouth State University Student Endowment, allowing me to gain first hand experience in portfolio management.  I’ve learned much from this experience, and I look forward to finding a job with a firm that will challenge me to learn, contribute and succeed.

I demonstrate a strong work ethic and immense dedication when it comes to my studies.  I believe that I have much to offer an employer.  If you think there might be a place for me in your organization, I would be grateful for a chance to discuss my potential contributions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and review my resume.  I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Sam P. LeStudent
